The LEFC Student Ministries exists to form teenagers who will transform their world through christ.
Jr. High
The
chief aim of our youth ministry is to glorify God. Our goal
is to develop teenagers who love and worship Jesus Christ by providing
them opportunities to experience, apply, and proclaim the Gospel.
We prayerfully desire our students to express:
A love for the Gospel
A passion for God
An emphasis on sound doctrine
A pursuit of spiritual maturity through application of Biblical truth
A passion for serving
A heart for sharing the Gospel
Meetings and Activities
Our
youth ministry format consists of weekly youth group and small group
meetings. Youth group meetings provide our students with an
opportunity to participate in prayer, fellowship, service, and
worship. These meetings also serve as a platform for teaching,
discussing, and applying the Word of God to our lives.
Students
can also participate in small group meetings throughout the week.
Our small groups meet in Lena, Warren, and Pearl City. Two of our
small groups are gender specific and exist to encourage discipleship
and spiritual growth. Our other two small groups are co-ed and
focus on outreach and evangelism.
In
addition to weekly youth meetings, a variety of activities are
scheduled throughout the year. These include outreaches, service
projects, youth conferences, and retreats.
Jr. High youth group: Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
